We just experienced a rather miserable ordeal with the Spencers Gilbert store, they did not meet our expectations of customer service. We don’t plan on coming back, bur Spencers has not reached out to us to offer an apology. We purchased a top-of-the-line GE Profile washer & dryer on September 12th. Here is what transpired: Day 1 - 9/13/23 Installers showed up at the designated time and brought in the washer & pedestals. They have a good inventory and prices are competitive. --No delivery window--have to wait for a text between 7-9 AM on the day oof delivery in order to find out when during the ENTIRE day they will arrive. --Installation doesn't always include the entire job--got a new replacement microwave. Installer didn't secure the vent back on the wall. Had to once again do the "between 7-9 AM text dance" to find out when during the ENTIRE day again, someone was coming out. Completely agree w/David H. They take your money, then don't deliver the product. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Spencer’s is more than happy to take your hard earned money but they can’t deliver the product. They blame the supply chain but are completely dishonest. AVOID at all costs.
One of the worst experiences I have ever had with a company. Purchased a dishwasher in May and on Aug 12th it was finally delivered. Was given a date for delivery in June and waited at home patently for the delivery. Around 5pm I finally called and asked where it was and was told it was delayed. Took off work to be home and no call ahead of time warning me it would be delayed. In July we went on vacation and got a call from a delivery driver stating our dishwasher was here. We got our refrigerator from Spencer's on Jan. 18, 2021. Within a few days the ice maker did not work correctly. I called them and they said they would send a service guy out today (the 10th)but they would call between 7:30 and 9:00. Nobody called and nobody showed up. I called Spencer's and left a message. Nobody called me back so I called them AGAIN. She asked me if were were closer to Florence, AZ or Queen Creek! They friggin had my address! Don't they know how to use GPS?!! I ordered a new refrigerator over this last weekend by phone and they said it be delivered on Wednesday. When I bought it I gave the salesman my address (and spelled the name of the street) and said Sun City. Well they got the street name wrong and the address doesn't even exist and still sent him to Surprise not Sun City. If they sent me a receipt like they promised before the delivery day I would have seen the error and called them but I got the receipt in my email 1 1/2 before he was supposed to show. If you live in the Phoenix area and need appliances, DO NOT SHOP Spencer's. You will get great deals, but the service after the sale is beyond abysmal. I bought a brand new dishwasher and waited 2-1/2 weeks to get it delivered and installed. Once delivered (and thanks to a conscientious third-party installation guy), I received a scratch and dent used model that had scratches and dents all over it. They offered $25 for me to take it - there was well over $100 worth of damage on the unit so I refused it. After several c... read more
I bought a new LG refrigerator from Spencers. It arrived with a dent in the right French door. I wasn't happy but they said they could replace the door in about 4 weeks. It looked really nice in the show room but when we got home we noticed a gap of more than an inch between the top of the bottom freezer drawer and the bottom of the two French doors.
