Oh my goodness! The very best lunch ever; vichyssoise with salmon garnish, pomme frites, green beans, and a sirloin chunk done not only rare, but purple and blue rare. Then add a blueberry tart with ice cream and coffee for $19.95. I cannot believe I ate the whole thing; please someone bring the wheel barrel!
I've been to Spencer's on numerous occasions and between the atmosphere, service and food, it is truly one of the most superb restaurants, not just in Palm Springs, but all of southern California and the entire U.S.

Lovely restaurant...give it a try....one of few restaurants in the valley offering soft shell crab appetizer...felt like was back in New Orleans for lunch.
Consistently excellent.
We were seated promptly. Service was smooth and professional. The food, especially the lobster, as excellent. However the crab cake was not to my taste. The ambiance , as always, is magical.
To us Spencer’s is all about the ambience. We were a bit disappointed in the calamari, but it’s still our favorite in the valley.
Great atmosphere and service; seafood was cooked perfectly...we had lobster bisque, crab cake, sea bass and the lobster tail. Desserts are yummy too! Make reservations as they were fully booked for Saturday night when we called.
