Outstanding food, great location, and a great vibe. We really enjoyed having lunch here before heading up to Ojai for some hiking. Highly recommended. Be sure to try the fish tacos!

This is our first time in Ventura so of course we were looking for places with local flavor. Spencer Makenzie's came highly recommended. We are so glad we tried it because they definitely delivered on delicious quickly prepared food and excellent friendly service! I highly recommend this place and we will be back!!!! <3

My FIL and I were looking for a place to stop and have a quick bite. Drove by SP's on Thompson and the place was jumpin' ... usually a very good sign. It was! Food was incredible - I had the clam chowder, and we both had shrimp tacos (Best I've ever had, and I used to spend my weekends in Rosarito Beach). Their homemade sauces are on the money, and the service couldn't be any friendlier. I'll be doing a full review on my blog, Caution: Caveman Cooking, soon. Can't wait to go back!
I absolutely love this place! I know they are known for great fish tacos, but in my opinion their fish & chips are THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD! I consider myself a F & C connoisseur. For an appetizer treat yourself to an Ahi pocket and for dessert an order of Won Tons! I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Also got $100 dollars in gift cards for Christmas because I want to bless my friends and family with this amazing Ventura spot! One Love!
