RecommendedThe very best calamari I have ever had! Great chipotle dipping sauce to go with. Had 2 plates and could not find even 1 less than excellent bite. All restaurants that serve it should come here for training!
Great food and delightful atmosphere, a family favorite!
My family and I came in for the first time today. Our server was very polite and recommended us some popular dishes. Two of us ordered the rockfish plate. The prosciutto wrapped around the fish was rubbery. The sauce for the fish was under the mashed potatoes...??? The greens were just awful. The taste was inconsistent. Some bites were buttery, some bland, and some tasted like it had gone bad weeks ago. The mashed potatoes weren't terrible but could've been seasoned more. Yesterday - Aug 12th was our first time at Spenard Roadhouse. Wanted breakfast. Our waitress was great! She was efficient and friendly! But we waited a long time for our food. Which was mediocre. There was very little gravy with the biscuits, the bacon was nearly burnt, and the english muffin was hard as a rock and cold. In fact the entire meal was barely warm.
