My mother brought in her car a few weeks ago to get her brakes replaced (under warranty) only after waiting a few hours to realize that there was no work done to the car at all. Brakes still scrubbed and squeaked and took more effort to stop the car after I took it for a test drive. She couldn’t bring it back in because of her schedule.
