Spectrum has always been very reachable through phone and email and have a overall good experience with them - I have been working with Krystal F. For trimming down a tree near my home through which squirrels were getting on my roof and into the attic and not only she helped coordinate the work to be done, she even noticed other things around my home that needed addressing such as some outgrowths and bushes and proactively worked to get them taken care of them as wellwhich I very much appreciated!
One of the perks of living in the neighborhood is the pool. However, when you're unable to access what is arguably the best benefit you receive from paying HOA dues, it becomes frustrating—especially after repeatedly trying to resolve this issue. Since May 25, 2025, I have made several calls/requests regarding access to the pool (which is open from May 3 to October 31, Tuesday to Sunday, from 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM). Spectrum started out great but they just continue to decline in service and homeowners satisfaction year after year. Most recently in 2024 and 2025, we've have had our property manager move $24,000 without the board's approval, not provide an annual budget for review by homeowners at our annual meeting, not approve the annual budget in an open meeting per Texas Property Code 209, have an election of board members where homeowners were unable to vote for the election during an open meeting, count invalid votes that were recei... read more
Also shocked this company has anything more than 1 star. This company has completely inaccurate billing, resulting in immediate fees and fines above and beyond what your CC&R even displays - then they make threats that they can not adjust the late fees or admin fees. In our CC&Rs it states only 1 fee may be applied for a late fee, yet this company makes 2, a late fee and an admin fee - this violates bylaws in our POAs CC&R.
