Wow ! Specs always slightly higher price than Goody’s … but just now was slapped in the face with an add’l 5% fee for paying with a credit card ! Unbelievable !!! especially since retailer card fees mostly max at 3.5% , looks like they’re layering on extra for their pockets. Not going back to Specs after shafting of their regular customers like this !
Great location, centrally located with wide selection of spirits, alcohol and refreshments. Clean and nicely laid out establishment with a cool and friendly staff, good customer service. I’m repeat customer
This specs is my go to, for craft beers and good deals with cash if I need something under $10. And great prices on their whiskey and tequila, Very nice employees as well love this specs
Don't understand all the great reviews for this Specs on Marsh. I was a loyal customer of Specs when I lived in San Antonio. I didn't know that the military discount which I thought all Specs offered is actually at the discretion of the store your at. They decide whether you get it or not even with the proper identification. Don't say you support the miltary and then decide when you will or will not. I have learned that this is very typical for Dallas.
I would just like to share about my experience that I had on Friday, June 13, 2025. I came to this store to buy some liquor so that I could practice what I had learned in my bartending class. In my hand was a recipe book. When I entered the store I was approached by two male employees who asked if there was something that they could help me with. Very polite and well-spoken.
