Good coffee, nice place, nice workers, clean relaxing environment, and convenient hours.
We chose Speckled Hen to host and cater our annual company Christmas breakfast this year, and the experience was delightful every step of the way, from initial planning through implementation. What a great amazing place! I had a reservation for 22 people and everyone could not have been more pleased. They had a whole section reserved for us. The food came out so fast and sooo good! We had a hungry group with lots of kids...everyone left full and happy. The service, food, drinks and desserts were all amazing. Perfect ending for our family trip to Strasburg Railroad. We will be back next year. Thank you!!!!!!!

Outstanding! Great vibes in a friendly, modern, delicious cross between a hip coffee shop and a gourmet eatery. My family and I lodged at the lovely Carriage House Inn the past week and frequented the Speckled Hen daily. Strasburg is lucky to have them. A++

Amazing egg soufflés and best ever Gf oatmeal cookies! Many gluten free options!! Loved the atmosphere! The coffee was rich and perfect. Staff seemed a little shy but very friendly, not your topical outgoing barista, but helpful and educated on the gluten free choices. If I was local this would be my morning coffee spot!! Can’t wait to return next year!!!
The French toast was very good, I would have never mixed strawberries and apples...it was delicious. I loved it was served with maple syrup instead of junk syrup!
