I’ve been here twice for two different surgical procedures, at first I thought this was mainly for colonoscopies but it turns out the do all sorts of things here! The facility is very clean and sterile and the nurses have been great both times. The only odd thing about the surgery center is that everyone is kind of cattle wrangled into one main room to places I’vs and change and there is only a thin curtain to block you, the same when you wake up. I received treatment at this facility and would recommend it to my close family and friends. The staff was friendly and respectful. The environment was clean. My procedure went smoothly thanks to Dr. Raifu without any complications.
It is perplexing to read some of the 1-star reviews, and am glad /grateful that my experiences have not been anywhere close to this. I have been getting periodic epidural injections for my chronic back pain I think since late 2023 or early 2024. The check-in process has always been smooth, processes efficient, and the care shown by the RN's has been genuine. My rating only applies to their billing procedures. Specialty surgical center demanded upfront payment for cataract surgery even though they are contracted with my insurance. They are supposed to bill my insurance first. They assured me if I paid too much I would get an immediate refund. It’s been 2 months since my surgery. Still waiting for that immediate refund! And similar to other reviews here, no one in billing returns my calls!! Very scammy place!! I will be happy to review the care I received once I receive my overpay... read more
