The dehumidification process took most of the afternoon, which seemed reasonable for the amount of moisture they found in the basement walls. They also explained how the equipment worked and what to expect over the next three days which was good.

Spent much of the afternoon cleaning up the emergency water which felt appropriate given the amount of water damage in our basement. They used industrial fans and dehumidifiers to dry the space out completely. They explained how the moisture had gotten into the plasterboard, and quickly cut out pieces, confirming my suspicions from a previous examination after a little leak last year.

I was initially concerned about how thorough they'd be since our last experience elsewhere wasn't satisfactory, but they spent over three hours setting up and monitoring dehumidifiers to ensure all areas were properly addressed. This visit was much more attentive than the previous company we used, and they even followed up the next day to check moisture levels.
