15000km and no track time on the spec v nissan clutch and flywheel was supposed to be a stage 1 basic but seemed cheap, it did work great for a while then it started to slip and last week the provided slave cylender gave out on my way home and had to limp home tore it down to find pressure plate, disk, and flywheel friction plate completely bare. I recently reached out to SPEC Clutch regarding replacement discs—or ideally, a full rebuild—of my Motive twin disc clutch for an N54 BMW. Although the clutch is sold under the Motive brand, it’s clearly manufactured by SPEC, as indicated by the branding directly on the unit. In my initial message, I received a prompt response. Be careful buying from this company. After sale support is horrible. I had a few email exchanges with David then ghosted. I’m not even trying to get issues solved. Or trying to make a Warranty claim. I’m just trying to buy a counterweight for one of their flywheels and cannot get a response.
