We rented from Spearhead for a year and a half and had an awesome experience. It was a great community of people and super attentive admin. You don’t feel like just a number. Maintenance was speedy and after leaving our apartment clean we got our full security deposit back.

Spearhead is run by great people who are quick to take action when you need something. They work with you like real people instead of soulless corporate landlords. I lived at the Eden Roc for two years and I highly recommend it. The building is old and quirky, and the location, community, and vibes are fantastic. It's a very special "old Austin" experience to live there.

We lived at Oak Grove for a year, and it was honestly one of the best apartment comples I’ve had the pleasure of living in. The location is great, and the complex itself has its own private cozy feel, with tons of trees and shade, and a very well-kept pool(which is never too busy). The apartments are extremely nice-hardwood floors, high ceilings, a fire place, pet friendly, etc. All the neighbors are great too- never too rowdy etc. What pleased us the most was the management itself. I lived in Spearhead units for four years and deeply enjoyed my time there. There is a definite community feel among the neighbors, management is kind, real and understanding, and it is rent-stabilized, making it a great spot for getting your footing in Austin. I leave with great memories of my time here.
