OK for the price. Not really a front desk if you need anything during your stay. We stayed 4 nights and not once was our room serviced. Its a bit outdated but has everything you need (except a kettle) Check in is so confusing. Head to the strafford hotel around the corner.
Stayed 5 days. Had room with Queen bed and private bathroom. Very clean. Basic but good, especially for the price. I don't need daily cleaning and liked not being bothered. I don't need additional service either, everything is available at a short distance walking. I felt safe and the street seems safe. I also like the Panasonic bathroom fan, as I know these are very good at preventing moisture and the associated mold and smell. No sounds from the street, as I was on the side of the building. Walls are paper thin, there is no 24/7 front desk or security, so you cannot do much about loud noises at night (a common occurrence). Considering the price, it might be better to find somewhere else and pay a little more to get a good sleep.
I was not happy that the private room I was given had a dirty bathroom, an unlocked door and no "do not disturb" sign. The TV didn't work and did not have a remote control. It made me feel less safe and I didn't enjoy my four days there. Only two of these issues were resolved. I wish there were washcloths for bathing. The front desk is not regularly staffed, and most communication is done by text message. If you need to check in before 3 p.m., you must walk a block and a half to another hotel.
