HORRIBLE experience! An attendant opened my console and actually opened a thank you note I had in there, left the card but threw the envelope away and took money as well. The manager was an idiot and does not know how to talk to customers. I never even received an apology. I will NEVER go back. I had to call the police to file a theft report, and he said they have this problem here often.
Why would you go to a car wash to get your oil changed? There are places like Modica Bros and even Firestone who excel in oil changes and tire rotations. Also go to Auto Zone and buy the K&N air filter, and you will never have to worry about changing your air filter again. Bad news: You are screwed when it comes to the cabin air filter (which is behind your glovebox in your car) because you have to change that every 10,000 miles. Was seeking employment with this company. Management is rude and incompetent. Couldn't even get an application. I'm highly educated and am trying to get by in this economy and was not even given the oppurtunity to say I would do anything for work. I don't know if its the hat but the guy had a complex with me. And before I made aware to him I was even at the counter his coworker (very nice lady I might add) had to stop his rambling story so that I could speak. HAD OIL CHANGED TODAY (MAYBE). GUY SHOWS ME A DIRTY TOYOTA FACTORY BRAND CABIN FILTER HE WANTS TO REPLACE. I ASKED HIM WHERE THAT CAME FROM, HE SAYS MY CAR. (I DON'T BUY THEM FROM THE DEALER) I HAVE REPLACED THIS MYSELF IN THE PAST SO DECLINED. ON THE WAY HOME PICKED A NEW ONE UP, AND SURE ENOUGH THE OLD ONE WAS FROM ORIELLYS AND NOT THAT BAD. The male employee that directs you into the wash, started hitting on my window and yelled at me to go in neutral. I was! The flow of cars in front if me was stopped too. None of the cars were moving. Anyway, when I explained to the male manager how I felt, blew me off. He didn't even apologize. I pay $25.00 every time I go there and I'm there at least once a week. I feel like, if I were a "man" or had been with one, he wouldn't have hit on my window or yelled. Taking my business somewhere else...
They don't deserve a single star. My keys were locked into the car by service staff. Cameron, the alleged evening manager, told me that I had locked the keys in the car without even an introduction and that I would be responsible for the cost of a locksmith to open the vehicle if needed. I informed him that I couldn't have locked the keys in the car as the staff had cleaned the mats after I exited the vehicle. On 9/20/14, I visited Sparkling Image car wash in Ventura on Johnson Dr. I was only going to get my car washed but had some issues due to tree sap and bird droppings. I was dismayed when I pulled in BUT... much to my surprise, they actually listened to my concerns, offered me an upgraded car wash (a little more expensive) and my goodness, my car looks better than when I first purchased it. I purchased my 2012 Ford Fusion in November of 2013. Since I purchased the car I have taken it to Sparkling Image Mobil 1 Express lube shop at 2301 H Street in Bakersfield, Ca. 933013 times to have the oil changed. The last oil change was on August 6, 2014. On the evening of August 29th, I heard my breaks making a scrapping sound. On September 2, 2014 I took my car into Mark's Automotive .
