Very difficult company to work with. The website has not worked for over a year. Cost of a unit has gone up by 50% over the last year. Unacceptable. Customer service is rude. Unacceptable. I’ll be looking for another storage facility.
I used this storage for 1 year and 8 months. All was well until we needed the lock cut which is a service they provide. We put in a request for the lock removal and make the payment. Instead of removing the lock the property manager proceeds to say he called us. Why are you calling me? My payment and request for the lock cutting is confirmation enough, cut the lock! Renting storage units remotely has been super easy and my calls with customer service have been very pleasant. I recently got a second unit, and Kedisha helped correct my mistake on the spot - I’d accidentally picked one that was too small. Definitely appreciated!
I was really, really pleased with SpareBox storage for a while, even after rates were raised once or twice. But this most recent time has just frustrated me. Since starting less than 2 years ago, our rates have gone up $51. I’m going to look for a storage that doesn’t do this, or doesn’t do this so egregiously. Anybody interested in this storage facility beware - they will raise your rates and not by just a few dollars.
