I recently had a very difficult pregnancy that ended in the death of my child born at only 21 weeks. Dr. Spalding was my doctor and was on the doctor on call when I went into ore-term labor at 6 pm. Not only did she not bother to come to the hospital that night, she didn’t come the next day either after my son was born at 3 am. Also, she didn’t call me to check in on my health or to see how I was doing emotionally. I did not hear from her until 4 days later when I called her. No compassion!
Dr. Spalding is great,I would give her a 5* for her attentiveness and calm manner,but her office is beyond any acceptable norms and practices. it always takes 1-2 hours there to be seen and while you are waiting - nurse is checking out her facebook right in front of you; you can never reach them by phone, no matter what extension you try - you have to be lucky to get to the live person - and this is during business hours. I wonder how that works out if you are having an emergency. Horrible!
All of the staff are very polite, professional and helpful. I like this office.
Dr. Spalding always is pleasant and makes me feel right at home and open to listen to anything that I have concerns about.
The office staff was professional and polite, the waiting rooms are clean and bright, the bathrooms are always clean, everyone treats me with dignity and respect, my questions are answered in a timely manner, an overall positive environment.

I have been a patient of this office for many years and now I'm told that the policy has changed and refills can no longer be called into the pharmacy (even though I have been experiencing the same ongoing issue). Not to mention that once you arrive to the office, there will be an EXTENDED wait time. This is very unfortunate and an inconvenience. I guess I will have to find another office that caters to their patient's needs and not their pocket, but also respects their patient's time.

The fact that Dr. Spalding treats you as a human being and actually speaks, listens, and makes you feel comfortable is so refreshing. I have been going to a gynecologist for the past 30 years and she has been the ONLY one who had made me feel at ease and listens. She actually spends time with her patients and doesn't treat them like a number at a deli but as a human being. I recommend her to every woman I meet.
