Our server, Emily, was very pleasant, professional and she was totally charming. For me that makes the total experience awesome. The atmosphere was pleasant, a little chilly. The food was excellent.

We were disappointed after reading all the great reviews. The fish (claims to be wild caught) was not seasoned at all. The appetizer Parmesan soft crap was way overpriced. The fried shrimp was good but not great. Being a waitress for many years and seeing food not eaten would trigger me to ask what was wrong with the meal. A little salt in the cornmeal would’ve been nice. We were in town for a volleyball game at Nichols.
Waitress, Dallas, was very helpful in answering our questions & making recommendations. Finally, we had a healthy dinner..grilled fish & steamed broccoli instead of the normal southern fried/creamed meals that are offered everywhere else (they do have that if you want it!). My dinner mate loved the pumpkin pecan bread pudding! The manager came to our table to make sure we enjoyed our meal. Nice establishment.
