Dr Spackman is amazing. He explained my epidural injection in detail and was warm and friendly, with a bedside manner one can only dream about. I’ve been to three pain clinics with injections in three different states, including another one in Meridian. Dr. Spackman is my number one experience.
Dr. Spackman is very good and very patient with his patients. He is always friendly and helpful. He made sure that I am comfortable with his recommendations before I give him the go ahead order.
I first had trouble with Dr. Spackman but I stuck it out and continued to see him only to realize he is a very caring Dr. He explains everything very well. He takes care of my issues very well.
I went to Dr Spackman and all I can say is the man doesn't care. He knew I was in so much pain I was thinking of taking my own life and he didn't care. In fact he let me leave his office offering me no alternatives on what I could do. He is the WORST
I experienced everything negative that has been said here. He was treating me for my back when I needed a hip replacement. In addition, he does not, nor does his staff, return phone calls. I left three messages saying that I was in horrific pain. My husband had to take me to the hospital where I was given Demerol. When I asked Spackman about it, he said that he is too busy to return phone calls. Seriously? I saw Dr. Rogers after that. She was great!
I found this man very patronizing and condescending. He needs to work on his bedside manner. If the answers he gets from his patients are dramatic, maybe it means they are in PAIN. He may need to work on the types of questions and how he phrases things so the patient is clear about the information he wants. He has personal issues that keep him from becoming a good doctor. He listened to my husband and would defer to him, because I was too dramatic for his taste. He was kind of a jerk.
He Listens to me.
I can't recommend this doctor to anyone. Very condescending, arrogant and just plain rude. Worst of all, he blatantly misdiagnosed my condition and was more concerned with his ego than taking care of a patient that needed care regarding pain management. Got very defensive and seemed agitated when asked about his reasoning or questioning anything he states.
Very personable. Explained each step of the procedure. Answered all my questions.
