I would like to start this review off by saying that the website and photos/descriptions of the Meritage are very different than what you actually get. I was so surprised to pull into a business park, which was where the Meritage was located, rather than a more scenic area among the hills. It definitely didn’t have the vibe we were looking for. We just stayed at the Meritage for a conference. The hotel was overbooked a d the front desk was understaffed the 3 days that we stayed. One day they forgot to make our room. At 4 pm we told the hotel, and they told us that at 4 pm they had no one in housekeeping that could make up our room. Clearly not a five star resort. Also limited options for lunch. The bell staff are super nice. The gym is clean with plenty of equipment. Overall the Meritage is only a 4 star hotel.
Great place if you are there for a conference. Place could use an update on the rooms.
Wilbert was our server at Olive and Hay. He was amazing! Very attentive, friendly and warm. Our group appreciated the service we received!
