Had a disappointing experience at Spa Talisa. The grounds were gorgeous and the masseuses were wonderful, but the overall experience was a let down. We booked two Terrafirma massages ahead of time but did not receive a confirmation email (it turns out the email address they had was incorrect, otherwise I would have let them know that one of the massages being a Serenity massage was incorrect). Our experience was average at best. My wife and I had a couples massage here, but we’ve had much better experiences elsewhere for a fraction of the cost. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite meet our expectations.
I'm obsessed with Spa Talisa's co-ed Zen relaxation garden featuring a heated whirlpool surrounding an ancient rock, overlooking lush vineyards. In the women's garden, there is an outdoor misting deck as well - the perfect way to cool off on a hot Calistoga summer day. The warm wood and overall interior design and inviting ambiance within the spa create such a serene atmosphere, all you want to do is take a deep breath and feel your stress melt away as you welcome an incredible feeling of total bliss. Highly recommend.
