Location is fantastic. The spa is nice for what it is but didn't live up to our expectations. Staff is very nice. Robes are nice and heavy. Now the not so great: the waiting area is not big enough to accommodate everyone waiting and is too small. If you go with a friend often times it is difficult to find two chairs together if you are not the first appointment. I didn’t feel the spa was worth the price. Unlike many other spas in the area of comparable price, the Pendry spa only provides access to a steam room and the outdoor pool. Unfortunately it was storming the day we went so we were not able to access the pool. The associate there kindly extended the offer to return on another day to use the pool, but when I called to schedule, another associate curtly told me that I could come whenever as long as it wasn’t a weekend or holiday (such as Labor Day) otherwise I’d have to pay $150... read more

I came here for my birthday & got the athlete’s massage. I’m a local & I’ve tried many massages in DC. This one was definitely luxurious! My massage therapist, Wallace, was incredibly professional and the service was great. I felt so relaxed and had a glass of champagne in the sitting room of the spa. I would definitely come here again, and I’m going to recommend it to all my friends! (Also, yes it’s pricey but for a special occasion, so worth it)!

Exceptional service. Great facial from Gessika for firm and lift. She was so professional and I got 60 minutes which seemed sufficient. I started with the steam room. Robes and slippers provided. Steam room doesn’t eat into your hour time. You can go earlier and use the steam room or go after. Very clean and new facility. Recommend booking in advance. If you are a white woman, be prepared to face blatant racism by the pool. As a hotel guest, I experienced what I believe was clear racial discrimination from the pool staff. On my first day, I was completely ignored and could not even place an order while other guests were being served. On the second day, the situation escalated.
