I am truly saddened by the experience I encountered at what is supposed to be a luxury hotel and spa. Kevin at Bar Pendry was not welcoming at all. I do, however want to sincerely thank Salma at the front desk for being exceptionally warm and kind. My experience at Spa Pendry was beyond disappointing. I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience working with Melodie Edmundson, Director of Spa at Pendry. Over the past few weeks, she went above and beyond to help me secure a Valentine’s Day reservation that I truly wanted. Despite availability challenges, Melodie was patient, responsive, and incredibly kind throughout the entire process. Amazing experience! Went for my boyfriend’s birthday and had a wonderful time. It was our first time ever getting a massage, and it exceeded our expectations. Massages with Makeba and Emily were fantastic. My partner absolutely loved his hot stone massage with Makeba, and Emily was sensational for me — her flow was incredible and she knew exactly what to do! The front desk (Kaie’nne) & staff were welcoming and professional, the atmosphere was calming and beautifully maintained. Highly recommend — we will definitely be back!
This experience was disappointing and avoidable. A reservation had been made well in advance, but there was no reminder communication prior to the stay. More importantly, when I checked in, staff did not notify me that there was an existing reservation on file that required confirmation. I never received any follow ups to confirm my appointment or that they would proceed with a $800 cancellation and not advanced notice. One of the best massages I have had in a long time. Pricey, but yes, you’re at a luxury hotel spa, and the prices are consistent with those of other hotel spas. My 60-minute massage with Wallace was fantastic and I feel 20x better than I did when I walked in the door. He was amazing and knew exactly what to do when I told him my areas of concern. The front desk staff were super friendly, and the steam room is lovely. The teas in the relaxation lounge are amazing, which is a plus too! I hope to be back soon.
