This spa was good. The place was very clean and smelled so nice. They only have a sauna no other amenities which was a disappointment. The showers and locker room are clean and well decorated. The spa itself is small. The pool and jacuzzi are not located near by for the spa, it’s for all hotel guests. The relaxing area outdoor space was wonderful and cozy by the fireplace. Disappointing and Dismissive Experience at L’Aaberge Spa! I visited L’Aaberge Spa in Del Mar expecting a rejuvenating Holistic Deep Tissue massage, as advertised. Unfortunately, the experience fell short. The massage, described as a “powerful, slow, deep pressure technique,” was in stark contrast to what I received – a massage that felt more akin to a soft lymphatic/Swedish style.
