Avoid Busy Hours – Been there customer for the past 4 month, I loved it for thewre service compare to there price. I went there for a massage to relax my stress that I am getting at my work, but lately I feel like as soon as I walk in they are in a rush to take my money and get me out of that store. No more relaxation what so ever. I would ratere go down the block where it is cheaper for that kind of service. I am sure nobody wants to pay more for the same third class service that they are providing lately.
Rude at the front desk – I have been to Spa Butterfly many times. I love the services, but have continually found the front desk unhelpful and even rude. I am sorry to say that I am no longer a customer.
The Best "Birthday" Gift I ever gave Myself.. – I recently went to Spa Butterfly and was VERY PLEASED!!!! I had a wonderful time. I went for a "warm stone" massage and it was the best I've ever had. I have tried others in the city and I have found the one I will be going to for years to come. The atmoshpere of the spa was a Tranquil Asian feel. Best Midtown Massage – This was the best massage I have had in Midtown and one of the best I have ever had--and I have had lots of massages. The place is very clean and serene with nice music playing and soft lighting. The rooms are very cozy and they have exceptional service. I went because it was spa week and only $50 for a 60 minute massage, but I will be back, often.
Dissapointed by irregular prices – I have been going to this spa for a few months now because I found it friendly and professional. However, after a bad experience today I will not be going back. This is the only place I have had bikini waxes for the past few months and when I went 3 weeks ago, the price was $25 for a regular wax. Today, the price jumped to $45 because they told me it was a "semi-brazilian", which wasn't even on their price list, even though it was EXACTLY THE SAME wax as I have had the last few times I have... read more

There are varying wax services that service here at Spa Butterfly and the waxing specialist who was helping you must have decided that the extras you had asked for was more than a standard bikini wax. Best spa in NYC (maybe even on the entire East Coast) – I go to Spa Butterfly regularly for manicures and pedicures, and have never once been disappointed. The staff is amazing, they are friendly, very accomodating, and make every person in the spa feel like they are the only person there. They are great at the services that they provide. Good bye Spa Butterfly... – I wrote a review back in February and had hoped that by now they would have gotten their act together. I've been going there now almost 2 years and have slowly watched as this place has deteriorated. The appointments are never honored; you always have to wait. Appointments are being botched up. MIRACLE ON 44TH STREET – I went to this spa, on the recommendation of a friend. WOW, this place is FABULOUS!!! I had a mami/pedi, a facial and a massage. Everything was great and the massage was exquisite! I can not remember his name, but ladies, he is european, very good looking and his hands are AMAZING!! heaven on earth! – if you are like me and get your nails and feet done once a year, youd best find a place that makes your annual pampering worth it. id highly recommend making SPA BUTTERFLY THE place to go for your annual pampering. i recently visited the spa and absolutely loved the decor. it felt like i was walking into a garden oasis. this spa does its best to treat each of its customers like QUEENS and whether you're getting a manicure or reshaping your whole body, you're treated the same. this is hard to find in nyc. t... read more
