Extremely misleading and a true injustice to the people. This garage is right next to the Walnut Creek BART station, yet there are no signs explaining how rates differ as a “privately owned” garage (BART garage is labeled North, while this is South). $8 rate is an unbelievable abomination and taking advantage of people who rely on public transportation. Will never be parking at South garage ever again.
This is NOT the bart parking garage do not park here. The fee is $8 no matter if you are there for two hours or ten hours. Cost double my actual bart ticket. Ridiculous.
Misleading! This is not an official BART parking lot. There is no signs on the outside saying it is a private parking and it is attached to the station. They charge you 8$ and once you drove in it’s too late they will charge you. Make sure to put north garage into your gps that is the only official BART parking for 3$
Predatory at best. There's no indication that this garage is any different than the standard Bart parking garage, and the signage to the untrained eye is effectively identical. If you make the mistake of parking here long term after paying for it on the BART app, expect to return to multiple parking tickets or worse - no car at all. Do not park here.
