Let me start of by saying I met people here that actually got better and overcame there addiction. One of the biggest problems is they let you keep your cell phone which wouldn't be as big of an issue if they didn't have local people at the facility. Less than a day after getting out of detox I found drugs at the program and in less than a week I had met a dealer who was up the road from where they house I the men. This place is full of liars and unscrupulous scammers. I was put in an unsafe environment by the house manager. He told all the guys that he would stop making cigarette runs if I didn't stop complaining. That made me a target. They also used my private therapy sessions to try and kick me out after I sent a 9 page letter to the Joint commission. They finally managed to give me the boot after unceremoniously moving me out of Palm Desert to San Clemente. 3 weeks after leaving, they were raided by the F.B.I They hit every locati... read more
