After getting bent over by a dealership that left me with more issues than I had when I gave them the car, I tried Sovel's. They quoted me and cited 2 things for what felt like a fair price. I was sceptical so I got quotes from a couple other places. Came back 4 months later for another quote, same quote. Asked them to address just 1 thing and guess what they 1) were right, 2) actually addressed just the 1 thing, and 3) didn't break anything else unlike the dealership. Rare to find good and honest auto service shop with out over charges.
I haven't even picked up my car yet but im rating their service. I called in morning, got my car towed to them by lunch time. Had a quote by 4pm. Got a call next day just after lunch. They ordered my part, got it, fixed transmission issues! So fast, so kind from every talked to..
I had to drop my car off in an emergency on a Saturday. Battery died while driving it. I called and left a message and then made an appointment online, soonest available was a week away so I planned on driving a rental for at least 2 weeks. But, they looked at my car when they opened Monday morning and had the alternator replaced by 2pm!!! Saved me so much grief and money.
Edit 2026***** They are still amazing! When it comes to mechanics I always had bad experiences but... this place is really what people describe in the reviews, they are friendly, quick and prices are reasonable. My car got fixed and will certainly come back if something else happens. Thank you team at Sovel's, keep the great work!
