We had a clunking sound coming from under our vehicle. Took it to a national chain who said it “probably” was the struts, but it could be more than that, which they wouldn’t know until the struts were replaced. Decided to get a second opinion and took it to Sovel’s (our first time here). Undeterred, they went to great lengths to assess what was actually going on. Chose to have my son’s car towed to Sovel’s based on reviews. Dropped it off on a Tuesday, was told they would be able to get to it “early next week”. Received a call on Wednesday afternoon that it was diagnosed (bad alternator) and given out the door price. Gave the green light to perform the repair and received a call at 10am Thursday morning that the vehicle was done and ready to be picked up! I usually work on my own vehicles however I found myself broke down in Novi an hour away from my home. Sovels Was very prompt, professional and fair .
I only take my car to Sovel's. I have never had to take it back for the same thing. The prices are fair, they don't treat me like a 'dumb girl', and the staff is great!
