My Mother in Law was a patient at Southwood for over 5 years. Her quality of life at Southwood was a vast improvement of what could be provided at home. Her care needs greatly exceeded out abilities to care for her at home and we were very happy with the daily care and later on conformt care that she recieved from the nursing and CNA staff at this facility. Some of the most honest caring nurses and assistants I’ve ever come a cross -those that treat you like family
My mother went into Southwood on July 2 2018 and passed away on August 5. We were beyond pleased with the kind, compassionate care that she received from the caregivers there. Erica her nurse, Madeleine, Nixon, Pierre, John-all amazing human beings who held her hand, her stroked her hair, who made her feel less alone and frightened. We'd been to several facilities before with mixed results some far more expensive. We are telling everyone we know to go there first. the staff should be forced to have all meetings in the dining room to smell the piss on their clients. the foyer is pretty, some of the cna's are life saving, the rest are what you would expect
