Materials came in on time and the work was scheduled and completed quickly. The install crews for the siding and gutters did a great job….However our salesman had very poor communication, He would not return our phone calls or texts hardly at all. We would have to call from another phone number to get him to answer. The crews would show up unannounced, thankfully someone was usually home, but we did not know from one day to the next who was going to show up at our house.
Working with Southwestern Exteriors was a deeply frustrating experience. Communication was inconsistent (almost nonexistent), timelines were repeatedly missed, and the final result did not meet agreed-upon specifications. Quality control appeared lacking, with several aspects of the project requiring revision or outside correction. Continually getting billed for incomplete projects and despite multiple attempts to resolve issues, accountability and follow-through were minimal. We worked with Reese on the removal of old siding and installation of new. Reese is an exceptional communicator and went above and beyond to make sure we were meeting our goals and staying on budget. We genuinely felt like he cared about our home and achieving a good result.
I didn’t hire Southwestern Exteriors, so I can’t speak to the quality of their work. However, one of their company vehicles—truck #1113—ran me off the highway. It was reckless and extremely dangerous. I tried to call the company to report it, but no one answered. If this is how they allow their drivers to behave on the road, it raises serious concerns about their overall professionalism and safety standards.
I wish I could give a positive review. The lack of communication from our sales person alone warrants a 2 star review. We received a message saying our project would start on X day and a few past that I was still struggling to get any information from our Sales person. This continued to be the tone of our interactions until I finally called the office. The mistakes and wasted time once we got them out to install made for a very frustrating experience.
