The purchase process was smooth and easy, even though we live about three hours away. Sent our daughter to get a routine oil change and she was taken advantage off. What should have been a simple appointment turned into a $2000 bill. Our daughter who is 16, was asked to sign binding documents in a deceitful way, ***** ****** who she worked with was promising things were going to be free of charge, pressuring her that things were necessary. Volkswagen of Oak Lawn promised to reimburse me for a defective tire. They never sent me a check. They also withheld the overpayment that they told me I would receive within 10 days. They were rude and would switch me around to different people and I was never able to get a clear explanation as to why I did not receive a refund. VERY POOR TREATMENT!
I brought my car in at 7000 miles as there was an issue with the transmission. This resulted in me needing a new transmission in a brand new car. When I got the car back it was filthy inside and out and they left if with on empty with gas after having to drive it 30 miles to test the new transmission. Shame on the delarship and brand.
I recently had one of the most disgraceful service experiences imaginable with Volkswagen of Fort Myers. While traveling back from Tampa, my AC failed at highway speeds. With my French Bulldog in the car, I needed help immediately. I called, was promised a 7:45am appointment, and told I’d hear back within an hour of drop-off. Instead, I got silence.
