RecommendedThis was the best eye doc I’ve been to. I was referred by a friend, and im glad i listened. It was almost too much information - they did everything from the run-of-the-mill cornea check and eye pressure, to how much oils my ducts are producing. That said, the assistant was great and moved me thru the various tests efficiently. Dr Drake went above and beyond. When he discovered, during my annual eye examination, that I had cataracts, he recommended surgery at Zion Eye Institute by Dr Ahee (who was outstanding!) and Dr Drake has followed up with me after the surgery. He is so patient in answering all my questions and is never rushed. The assistants who test my eyes are wonderful with great bedside manners. I appreciate their kind and caring attitude.
Fantastic service from everyone in the office. Very friendly, clean and very good selection of eyewear. I appreciate so much that my mask choice was honored and Dr Gooch was awesome. Very thorough testing and exam- I had some specific worries about my eyes and he addressed them all without me feeling rushed. I’m happy to be traveling from Idaho to see my new eye care family!

My family and I have been going to southwest vision for our annual eye appointments for over 5 years. We grew to expect high pressure sales situations and just prepared to turn down expensive treatments and glasses that were very forcefully suggested by the physician and staff. On my most recent visit, the physician doing my exam did not wear a mask and then insisted I take off my mask during the visit. Very rude staff. Went in to see about getting an appointment for my dry eye and was treated very disrespectfully. Not only did I have a bad experience with their staff but their front office staff is now harassing me to remove my honest review of their rudeness. Proof of their unprofessionalism and rude treatment of patients.
