This place is a hell hole of the worst kind! Beware of the information they give you in the office, all fake smiles and no real answers. drive by at night if you dont believe this review.this place is dirty, trash all over the ground .kids running around. just go look. Nasty

These apartments are awesome! I think they are so beautiful! What a deal they are too & they come fully equipped with ALL appliances including WASHER & DRYER!! They had a really bad rap for awhile but I have lived here for over a year & have had NO PROBLEMS at all, I feel totally safe & dont have a problem letting my small children play outsdie w/me just watching from my patio! The apartment cost is within reason. Washer and dryer are ava in every unit. Maintanance has impoved with getting things fixed in a timely manner. Its in the middle of the city so you arent traveling a long distance across town.. North or South. Schools are near. However the down side is that children have no wear to play so they are always playing in the parking lots and breeze ways. The gate is never fixed so anyone can come and go as they please. Southwest Pines is a very nice apartment complex. I just moved here about 7 months ago and was needing an apartment A.S.A.P. they were very helpful in getting me in fast and the rent is very reasonable. I lived at another apartment complex in Tyler and I moved because things in my apartment were always breaking or leaking, since I have been living here nothing major has happened and they will even come out and change my light blubs for me which is nice since I am older. These apartments are really nice. Unfortunatly, they don't let anyone in the apartment who are not black. They claim to be low income apartments, however, when I tried to get into the place they turned me down even though I am extremely poor. Th e only conclusion I can come to is that because my skin wasn't dark that I was regected. Please don't waste your money by trying to get in with a the non-refundable filing fee. Waste of money, now I'm worse off than when I started.
