I was referred to this office by my Primary Dr. I went in last Friday September 23, 2016, before we walked in a patient exiting the office warned us of a very long wait. My appointment was scheduled for 10:30am, I was not taken back till 11:30am, then I waited another 45 minutes in the room for Dr. Today is Tuesday, I started calling at 8:15 this morning as I have to schedule my knee surgery, I was told both women who schedule surgeries were in with patients ? My new ankle works great, and I'm back to my old activities.I had a very serious ankle injury a few years ago that resulted in permanent ankle damage. From: Tucson-Athleete (12/08/2007) Results of a CAT scan caused a referral to Dr. Cheleuitte at Southwest Orthopaedic Surgery Specialists. I am an avid hiker and swimmer. Dr. Cheleuitte advised an MRI that led to a diagnosis of a ruptured foot tendon. He performed a successful operation in which my tendon was reconstructed. After surgery, I used a wheelchair, then crutches for a while, to stay off the foot. My foot and the tendon healed well. Today, I again enjoy hiking and swimming, all without pain.
