On 1/28/16 SW Heating & Cooling installed a humidifier in my home for a cost of $1,850.00. On 2/2 humidifier stopped working. SW came out on 2/9. The tech stated they have had many problems with this humidifier. The humidifier is still was not working and I can't get anyone to return my calls. I feel that I was Shanghaied with excessive charges: Technician charged me $393 for the part [Honeywell International VR8200A2132 Gas Control Valve on a Comfortmaker Furnace] and $89 for what was written as Diagnostic charge. This part retails for $69-$109 and is easily installed as it is accessible on the furnace and the gas shutoff is just near it.
