The WORST company almost every house in my development has leaks,and the gas meter people are harassing the home inspectors for doing thier jobs better than them boycott southwest gas
They charge an unavoidable "convenience fee" to use a credit OR debit card. I didn't know public utilities were reduced to panhandling for loose change by shaking down their customers. I called to try to pay manually and they refused to accept payment without that fee. Pathetic customer service.
I just wish that Company like SW Gas that has resources and smart people working for them to come up with a phone system that works. Put consumers on hold for Almost an hour is unacceptable in any business. Automated system give only one chance to get information dialed in and 2 seconds to get information into the system. Your new voice automation system SUCKS. can't understand you, hangs up on you, takes twice as long to use. What idiot thought this would be better. Paid my bill on the phone for years, put up with the fee because it was simple and worked well. Now----total BS. Edit 3-26-25 This system has gotten even worse.
