RecommendedI was a patient in their Transitional Care Unit following surgery. The facility is older & could use a facelift but it was clean. The care I received was wonderful. The nurses, aides & assistants were professional, caring & attentive. They understand you’re not feeling well & may be in pain, & they do their best to make you comfortable & to tend to your needs. My ex husband is in there after bypass surgery and diabetic and they don’t offer him any diabetic foods but they do offer cookies and crumb cake which a diabetic should not have. Would not recommend this facility if you care about the patient in their care!
My husband was recently at Southview Acres for the last couple weeks of his life. He received exceptional care. The caregivers were kind, compassionate and attentive.
