Awesome food, awesome service!
I found this place by accident, and what a happy accident it’s proven to be. Weekend breakfast/brunch here is outstanding. Food is excellent, especially the simple stuff like pancakes (add peanut butter) and bacon. My review could stop there, but more needs to be said. This is without question one of the top five best-run restaurants I’ve ever been in, and as near as I can tell the reason for that rolls up to one remarkable woman. Delicious food, service is great, price is worth it
Went there on a whim and met the owner who was super kind. Food was fantastic. You won’t be disappointed.
You have to go see Mama at southside grill. We were in Anchorage for two days and ate there twice in a row because it was so good. She dapped us all up as we walked in, no kidding. The atmosphere, food, and service are all incredible. It feels like a true family (and I’m pretty sure several of them are). Just go, you won’t regret it.
