So unimpressed with Dr. Michael Mallory. Brought our daughter in with a severe diaper rash and tried to explain the things that led up to it and what we have tried, but he literally cut us off multiple times mid-sentence. Barely touched her or looked at her at all. Basically threw a yeast infection cream at us as a quick fix, but when pressed about how her constipation/bowel movements might be contributing, admitted he “didn’t know anything about infant digestion.” Are you serious?? We have been waiting 1 hour and 30 minutes so far in the waiting room. They keep calling back every adult before any children. This is an insane amount of time to make children wait to be seen. The board says 75 to 90 minutes now but we were told 35 minutes. This place needs to do better. There are so many children waiting to be seen. I’m seriously never coming back here. Update: Still waiting to be seen. We are about to hit the 2 hour mark and now the wait time was updated to reflect 90 to 105 minutes when we were told 35.
Don’t come here if you can help it. My child has a health condition that requires somewhat frequent visits for care. She has a long history of requiring the same treatment for this. The only place we haven’t had consistent, competent care is Southridge Kids Care. Dr Freer (not sure he’s still there) wouldn’t treat her despite her long history of the same treatment, and more recently, Dr. Huey was argumentative and rude about following the same plan of care as well. Took our 15-month old in near closing. The staff, assistants, nurses, doctors were incredible! They were kind, thoughtful, and professional. It’s never ideal to go to an instacare on a Friday night with your child, but the care we received was above and beyond.
