I was thrilled to learn about this practice from a trusted friend and fellow runner. A couple days prior to my 1st marathon, I developed a terrible pain in my left knee. I figured it would take a long time to get in, but was pleasantly surprised to get a same-day appointment. Dr. Peterson was WONDERFUL. Not only did he diagnose and prescribe a brace, but he followed up with me the morning of my race with a phone call! Office staff was friendly, too. Highly recommended!
This office is the most commercial non-caring medical office I have ever been to, in my life. They are open terrible hours: Mon, Tues, Thur and Fri 7:30 am to 2:30 pm with a 1 hour lunch in between! On Wednesdays, they are only open 7:30am to 11:30 am, The receptionist that answers the phones (after you finally get through) immediately says:"Southport Family Practice and Sprots Medicine.
