Surgery centers are a new concept for my family. We’ve always gone to a hospital when someone needed surgery. I accompanied my mother to the Southpoint surgery center for cataract surgery. Our initial impression was more of a pleasant surprise. She and I both envisioned mass chaos, but everything was very well organized. Very professional doctors, very friendly and courteous staff. They are great, i recommend.
There was a glitch in communication and I got there too early for my 11 AM procedure. I have no idea what caused the glitch. Anyway, the surgery was roughly 11 AM very smooth after that and the result was successful.
I would like to say thank you to all the staff I had contact to Jen, Patty, Dan, Brenda and Dr. Ravi Patel. Thanks for making me comfortable during my surgery. If anyone asked where I had my eye surgery. I will truly refer Southpoint Surgery Center. The best in Jacksonville Fl.
