When you read the negative reviews about this bank believe them and run! The entire management team at this bank is rotten to the core. They absolutely don't value you as a customer and have no personal touch. You could get better service and rates banking with an online bank. This bank has no value to offer.

I can’t say enough good things about Ian Hebert and SouthPoint Bank. My wife and I purchased our first home through them and Ian was a blessing to have guide us through the lender process. He worked his tail off making a loan work for us on a house that was at the high end of our buying range. His communication, professionalism, knowledge, and attention to detail were top notch but his personable character was the best part. I didn’t work with this lender directly — the other party in our transaction did. The first closing was scheduled with what seemed like plenty of time, but at the very last minute it was delayed because documents weren’t ready, even though we had been checking in regularly. The second time, the same thing happened again. In the end we did close, but it required multiple delays due to incomplete paperwork. Delays can happen, but in my experience it was more than expected. If your timing is sensitive, just keep this in mind.
