Dr. Blackmer saw Sloan for a 2nd opinion about a spot on his belly. She was kind and professional. Quickly got some cells from it and determined what it was (mast cell tumor), told me all the options, and together we came up with a treatment plan that I was really satisfied with. SPAH is wonderful. The staff and doctors are all very personable, and they offer dependable, quality service. As someone who is very particular about veterinary care, I feel very comfortable bringing my dogs here. If you are new to the area, or are having a bad experience elsewhere, I 100% recommend that you make an appointment here. You won't regret it :)

My pets receive services here and I love everyone. The "No Fear" aspect is super important and I have been taught many useful techniques for handling animals experiencing stress including my own pets. The patience and understanding that comes from all of the doctors and staff I have Interacted with have made all of my experiences absolutely delightful and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else for my pets needs and care.
