RecommendedI have been bringing my pets to southpoint for about 8 years and I absolutely love the practice. I even drive all the way from Raleigh now just because Dr. Elise and the entire practice are so wonderful! They are loving, supportive, give generous time and attention to each client. I have gone through tough loss of two animals with them and could not have asked for a better process. If I could give them 10 stars I would!
We had to put our dog of 15 years down and Dr. Thompson was the most compassionate, kind, and loving person/vet for this heartbreaking process. Thank you so much for helping Bizee cross to the other side!
The entire staff is always friendly, helpful, informative and caring. Can't say enough about how great this clinic is.

I just moved to Durham from FL and was dealing with a sick pup and no vet! I did my research and came upon Southpoint Animal Hospital and I couldn't be more pleased. They were able to get my pup in quickly, assess her situation practically, and helped me make the best decision for my pets care. The staff, nurses, and doctors were friendly and compassionate, and above all they helped put me at ease while helping my pup. Happy to be in Durham and to have them as my vet :)
I can’t put into words how great the SPAH team truly is. They are so thoughtful and so kind. Dr. Lapham was Hallie’s vet for more than half of her life. SPAH treated us like family all the way to the end and despite us having moved 2 hours away. Thank you again to the entire team. Your kindness has been a bright spot in a difficult time.
I am so thankful for Dr. Lapham and his meticulous care for both Cooper and Cate. He is the absolute best!
