The octopus ceviche, smoked scallops, and oysters were delicious. But dungeness crab and shrimp were over cooked and old. Over priced for what I was served.
It was our first time in downtown Portland so we drove around and happened to pass by Southpark, how did we ever get so lucky? Read some reviews, and walked right in. The atmosphere was great! It was packed and seemed like the perfect place to meet after work. We ordered the crab for two and it was fantastic. What an absolutely amazing experience in dining. We were there on Saturday afternoon and our server, Eileah, was so incredibly personable, knowledgeable and helpful and she charmed us with her wit and treated us like were the most important people in the restaurant. Thank you again, Eileah!! The food...Also ah-mazing!
Southpark seafood surpassed all of my expectations the atmosphere was to die for.
This happened a while back but they charged the wrong amount to my credit card and when they realized it they asked for my card again to charge the correct amount. They said that they cancelled the original amount but I saw both charges on my credit card. When I called to ask them about it I never got a call back and because of this I haven't been back since.
The food was excellent. Our server was nice and friendly. However the individuals that actually delivered the meals to the table acted like we were an inconvenience and a bit of an annoyance. Not a nice way to receive our meals and show off Portland dining to guests from Texas.
Horrible seating arrangements and customer service. Waited for an hour to sit at the bar, only to be ignored for 10 more minutes by the waitress. The only save was that the food was actually really good. I will never go back or recommend it to anyone.
