No Christmas trees? A ridiculous decision. I'll not be shopping at your mall again.

I think the public should boycott the Mall. The Christmas Tree is a tradition and should not be messed with. I think it is time people stopped sitting back and having their rights, traditions and things they hold sacred being taken away from them. The majority should rule and we should not be forced to give up our rights because of a few dissidents. Believe me, if we allow this to happen, Christmas will be eliminated entirely in future years. Slowly but surely everything with a religious connotation is being removed from our... read more

Wow! What an idea, do they have any glacier lots in Charlotte! I bet those things will sell like hot cakes. I would really like to know who the genius is that thought of this one. Get rid of the pavilion next, just hang a few speakers from the trees and hand out portable radios. Are you planning on replacing Christmas music with whale sounds?

Really bad judgment in the decision to remove the Christmas Tree, but leave Santa Claus. Guess the money is too big of a draw, so you would do it halfway. Newsflash......Santa Claus is just as much Christmas as the tree if not more. You choice to be PC will cost many of your merchants this year I am afraid. Make a stand for what id popular, not what will avoid any confrontations.

Get rid of the ugly glacier and put back the Christmas tree. If the glacier stays, I will shop elsewhere for Christmas. You mess with our Christmas tree, it will cost you here in the south.

I am so disappointed there isn't plans for a Christmas tree display this year! Seriously, who is offended by Christmas trees? How about all of those offended by the absence of Christmas displays? It is almost surreal to think Southpark Mall expects to benefit financially from a holiday they are refusing to acknowledge. I won't be spending a dime there this year and will encourage my friends and family to do the same. So disappointed.
