I recieved a test message from Southland MD, demanding I pay on a invoice with no other information. When I contacted the company they needed an invoice number that I didn't have, or the name of the facility. The odd thing was they had my name and personal info on file, and that I had a ZERO BALANCE!! This is a HIPPA VIOLATION, and the fact that they have a person that accessed my file and used that information to send me a bogus bill via Text message shows me that they have ZERO control of the Patient files. Sent my mother a $1900 bill for my step father who passed way at work. He was dead on arrival, and they list resuscitation as the $1800 service they provided. Scam artists.
