This hospital is absolutely unacceptable. I’ve encountered some of the most arrogant, rude, neglectful, and unprofessional doctors and nurses I’ve ever seen. During my latest visit, I witnessed nurses playing on their phones and talking about "who farted" right in front of me and others, then openly and loudly mocking and talking behind mentally ill patients back. I have spent a day at this hospital with my mother and experienced such amazing care and compassion from the staff, nurses, security, everyone that I interacted with has been kind and the environment is very clean
My experience in the ER was terrible. When I had a high fever and began experiencing chills, the nurse told me there was nothing she could do. Yet she could have at least given me Tylenol—something that might have spared me from shivering uncontrollably and crying in the ER. The inpatient nurses are great, but the resources are so limited. I’ve lived in three countries, and this is the first time in my life that I’ve had to stay in a hospital hallway. Terrible，I could barely fall asleep.
My wife just gave birth here - it was an great experience. It is a clean well run hospital. Our OB was amazing. The nurses were incredible - so accessible and caring. We really felt like they were part of the birthing process and on our team.
#EMS AND #SouthlakeHealth saved my life one week ago. I cannot express enough my HEARTfelt thank you to the EMS crew Dr. Toma and ALL the CICU Staff. Simply unbelievable staff and hospital. To my nurses in Step down, Boss Lady Janet, Kayla, Alice and Susan - the most incredible, professional, helpful and kind Nurses in the world. I am better than before and I thank you from the bottom of my whch is still beating thanks to all of you. YOU rocked my world!
