Dr. Bowers is insulting and rude. Doesn't care to listen. Just make as much money as fast as possible. Office personel was more concerned with getting me out the door so they could celebrate a co-workers birthday cake festivities. NEVER will go back to that office. Extremely negative experience!

I am VERY impressed with Dr. Bowers-Plott's office. Southlake Derm has a super staff and the doctor's and PA's there are very helpful and friendly. Never did I feel rushed and I've seen just about everyone there! They offer helpful information when I request it and never try to "sell me something". As a matter of fact, I think they are very conservative when it comes to cosmetic procedures. I've had plenty of treatments which cover every aspect of the office (Psoriasis, acne, Dysport)so I know what I'm talking about. If you'... read more

this Dr. totally dismissed my concern for a returning rare melanomashe seemed to know nothing about, and then charged me 200.00 dollars to clip my nail, calling it a biopsy to check for fungus not cancer. my regular dr did the same procedure and billed the insurance at no further out of pocket expenses than my copay, and recognized the concern for a returning melanoma. Dr. Bowers office is more concerned with selling cosmetics and the more lucritive side of cosmetic surgery, I was very dissappointed in the quality of service ... read more

Dr. Bowers was very rude and had a poor bedside manner. She was overall not very nice at all.

Dr. Bowers is very kind. She is very direct and won't spend time visiting or anything, but that isn't what I am paying for either. She is very up to date on her information.

Dr. was in to see me for a VERY short time, did not listen to me, and treated a scar which didn't need it and the MAIN purpose of the DR. and her staff seems to be to sell me cosmetics. She may be knowledgeable but I wouldn't know as She was in and out in a flash.I even got e-mails tell me what the cosmetic were on discpunt.

I went to Dr Bowers to have a small bump below my eye removed and for treatment of rosacea. She did remove the bump but it is not as smooth as I had hoped. She did prescribe a treatment for my rosacea and gave me several samples of different products & prescriptions. She was in and out pretty quickly and as the other reviewer stated, a lot of time was spent by everyone there pushing all the cosmetic procedures that they do. It seems to me that they are more focused on that than true dermalogic medical care.

Dr. Bowers was to have burned off several raised pre-cancers at my expense (cosmetic reasons) in 2004. She used a spray and it did nothing but get me a bit pink. The places on my back and neck were not taken care of and I felt that she did the procedure too quickly for it to be affective. I believe that she rushed out, so to make more money in the next room with a botox or collegen injection. I did not believe that she cared to listen to my needs (only $$$$ signs). It's very sad, but true so I never went back to her and retu... read more
