I had a phone consultation for virtual therapy, and they wanted lots of personal information upfront, like my credit card details and social security number. The phone call felt very rushed and impersonal. Very poor communication and my questions weren't answered. I'm sure the therapists are great, but the process of getting one is not worth it. Sketchy and unprofessional.
I have a credit from hitting my out of pocket max in my insurance earlier this year; this credit has been confirmed by staff. I’ve since left the practice and they will not refund that credit. I’ve left multiple messages and sent a letter and zero response - just straight ignore me. Many of the therapists are good but the business practices are abhorrent and unfair.
SLC seems to be a place where people can find the necessary pieces of information to become a functioning member of a community greater than self.
