We had a group of 8 from Memphis, TN come stay on 8/25/17. Susie and her crew were very accommodating through the entire weekend. Great folks. The cabins were nice and clean right near a running stream. The campgrounds were quiet, so perfect for camping as well. We had four "city women" showering all weekend and never ran out of hot water! Roll Tide! See y'all next year!
The owners over priced everything and ripped us off. They charged us for more people than we had simply because they could fit more people into the cabin we wanted! They are also biased and rude. They outright said (in front of a whole group of people, too) they gave a group of campers a discount simply because of their political views. They sold firewood that would not burn and wouldn't even reimburse us for the stuff that hadn't even touched the fire pit. This setting is beautiful away from the crowds. Our lil river cabin was right on the south fork river. Reasonably priced. Enjoyed our campfire both nights which burned good. Raft trip was a memory not soon forgotten. This resort is great for a romantic getaway or family. Owners are great folks!
Great location. Off the beaten path. Very friendly staff that knows how to have a good laugh. Very peaceful atmosphere. Let us run a tab on whatever we needed for the weekend.( firewood, ice, stuff for trip) firewood burned great all weekend and my neighbors had them going. Cabins are clean and cozy.
