RecommendedThis place is amazing!! Great amenities, extremely pleasant staff, clean bathhouse, right on the river, pet friendly, and they transport you around for all kinds of float/canoe/kayak trips! 🙃 Most campgrounds in the area are Satanists and don't allow pets, but this one is prettier and will even let the dogs canoe with you.
The resort is beautiful! The owners, Bob & Jennifer, make sure that your floating needs are taken care of. Their customer service is top notch. Their cabins are comfortable with beautiful views of the river. My family & I will definitely be making Southfork Resort a yearly (if not more) trip!
Fantastic camping trip. Owners are fantastic, campsite is clean and we enjoyed an easy float trip. Highly recommend!!

We stayed here this weekend. It was great! The owners were very friendly and helpful. Great price. We had a group of 8 that stayed in our cabin. We had a group of 14 that done the float. Great float. Ac worked well, bed wasn't bad. I would definitely stay here again! 💕 also the fishing was on point!
Great campground, taken care of by some super fine folks. Beautiful stretch of river with some good small mouth fishing. Can’t wait to go back

I’ve been visiting as often as I can for the past several years and this is my happy place. I go there to be without cell signal and destress. I’m a tent camper and this is a very relaxed and family friendly environment. The Southfork river is not as shockingly cold as spring river and it doesn’t feel like Mardi Gras on any given weekend. Staff if inviting and helpful, facilities are well kept. Awesome spot!
